So, tbe next morning (February 19), we took the tube to meet Karen back at Hyde Park. We got there a little early,
so we headed into Hyde Park (pictures 83-99). You'll notice the cherry trees are blooming. In February. It was
a little depressing to head back home after seeing that.
After meeting Karen, we headed over to Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the Guard (pictures 100-111).
We then headed into town, where we picked up one of the double decker tour buses, and took the circuit around town.
The rest of the pictures are from that. It was bone-chillingly cold on top of the bus, so when we stopped at a pub
for lunch, we ended having tea, to get warm. I remember holding the teapot until it finally got cold.
That night, we went and saw a Royal Shakespeare production of The Taming of the Shrew, which was pretty darn cool. Even so, we had a hard time staying awake, as it was a lovely, warm building.
