I'm Megan, and I live in Portland, Maine. I'm a graduate of Connecticut College, with a major in zoology and minor in music. Currently, I work for as a senior customer billing rep at UnumProvident, in the fascinating world of insurance. I live with my boyfriend, Patrick. Just in case he ever manages to read this, I'm going to refrain from saying anything further, in the interests of not being accused of overt sappiness ;). I've got two parents, one sister, two brothers, and assorted other friends and family members scattered throughout the cosmos. In other words, excuses to go on vacation.

Interests: I love the ocean. Heck, I live on the coast of Maine. It's really hard to live here and not love the ocean. I spent the summer of '98 in Florida, working at a marine lab. If I continue with zoology, I'll be going into marine biology. As it is right now, I like to go to the beach and muck around in tide pools. I've never managed to get a very impressive tan (that summer in Florida was an anomaly!), but that's life.

I enjoy traveling, when I can scrape together the money to do it. I've got more pictures then you can shake a stick at over on my travel pictures page. Or, at least I will when I have time to finish formatting everything.

When I have free time, I love to play my flute, write, garden, quilt (my newest hobby) and play way too much on my computer. I'm also a mild fantasy junky, to the point that I had to temporarily stop going to the library so I could catch up on all the books I'd bought and not yet read. (Two more books, and I'll own the entire Darkover opus!)
