President of the Synod Projects Commission Pastor Baloi has not only a BA, but his Masters degree as well. In addition to his duties with the church, he teaches at the University of Maputo. He emphasizes the need for professionalism. The idea is not to do things. The idea is to let people begin things themselves. |
Pastor Reinaldo Jorge Sive
Director of the Department of Projects Pastor Sive has a diploma in accounting, as well as having completed his seminary education. Besides being a pastor, Sive has lead the Projects Department since its inception in 1992. We want to give people skills, as well as aid such as buildings and food. |

James Mark Gordon
Consultant for the Projects Department Mark is a duel employee of the Presbyterian Church of Canada and the Presbyterian Church (USA). He has his bachelors degree from the University of Toronto, where he studied development. The church is a community with a common identity and has a natural legitimacy and a mission to work with the less fortunate. |
Laurinda Zitha Tsabete
Secretary and Accountant for the Department of Projects Laurinda is working on completing her high school education while helping to support the Projects Department staff. She likes to work with the Projects Department because she enjoys serving the less fortunate. Working with the Projects Department is challening, rewarding, and very interesting. |

Bartolomeu Langa
Representative of the Projects Department in Gaza Province For five years Bartolomeu has worked with the Projects department. He has a one year diploma in Project Management earned in Zimbabwe, on top of his high school diploma. We need to professionalize, because Mozambique is starting to develop. As it develops, the people must be able to take information and apply it in the field. |
Pastor Nelson Zulu
Representative of the Projects Department in Tete Province Pastor Zulu has come from Zimbabwe to work in Northern Mozambique, in Tete Province. He has his high school diploma, as well as having completed seminary training. He is new to the Projects Department in 1999. He speaks fluent English and Chichewa, a local language of the North. |
